Giving Back to our Employees and Their Families

The Smithfield-Luter Foundation is a nonprofit organization that acts as the philanthropic arm of Smithfield Foods, Inc. The company is dedicated to the continued well-being of our employees and communities. Since its inception in 2002, the Foundation has provided educational scholarships to the dependent children and grandchildren of Smithfield Foods' employees.

The Smithfield-Luter Foundation also funds Smithfield Foods' Learners to Leaders™ education alliance. This national initiative aims to strengthen communities by providing individuals learning opportunities that inspire them to become tomorrow's leaders.
