Supplier Sustainability Assessment Survey

Smithfield Foods has developed and implemented a Supplier Sustainability Assessment Survey for its top suppliers to ensure that our customers receive safe, high-quality products produced in a responsible, sustainable manner. The survey includes questions about supplier programs covering environmental management, energy conservation, employee safety, community involvement, employee benefits, animal care and general sustainability efforts. Survey responses are shared with suppliers so that they can compare their sustainability efforts with other suppliers and identify opportunities for improvement.
