Your Opportunity

The PT Delivery Driver position is responsible for transporting product between the Plant and DC and from the DC to outside locations via a van or lighter vehicle.  Additional responsibilities include maintaining vehicle(s) working conditions.

Core Responsibilities

70%  Load merchandise into van or truck ensuring inventory loads match shipping papers.


10%  Follow delivery/pickup instructions from manager.


10%  Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections adding fluids and oil as needed, checking tires, brakes, lights and gas.


10%  Maintain logs of packages delivered and obtain delivery signatures.



  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • Valid Virginia state driver’s license, must present DMV printout report with none of the violations below:
  • Any major violations (DWI, homicide, reckless driving, drugs, leaving the scene) within the last three years.
  • Two or more at fault accidents in the last three years with no moving violations.
  • Three or more other moving violations in the last three years.
  • Two or more at fault accidents in the last three years with no moving violations.


  • Safety awareness, work standards, building strategic working relationships, communication, initiating action, decision making.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.


  • Previous CDL driving experience.
  • Knowledge on GPS device usage and map reading.


  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diligent to detail and safety.

Work Environment

* Position involves loading and unloading merchandise with the ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds.

* Occasional lifting up to 90 pounds.

* The work is physically demanding and requires lifting, bending and sitting inside a van or truck for extended periods of time.
